Gumby came to life in 1955 by creator Art Clokey via claymation animation. He was given his own show in 1957 and has been in over 200 episodes. His show also featured his pony pal Pokey too, a red clay horse and their nemesis The Blockheads. Gumby is a retro favorite these days.
